BioMonitor will have a session on June 6 at the 23rd ICABR conference (Ravello, Italy) on "Contribution of the Bioeconomy to SDGs"

Workshop

The International Consortium of Applied Bioeconomy Research (ICABR) conference this year is on “Regulation and Finance of Innovations for a Sustainable Bioeconomy”. Innovations, finance and regulations and policies related to the bioeconomy will be discussed in line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The BioMonitor project will have an organised session entitled, “Contribution of the Bioeconomy to SDGs”:

  • “The EU Bioeconomy Strategy and its contributions towards global challenges” – Robert M’Barek, Joint Research Centre, the European Commission:
  • “Modelling the development of the bioeconomy towards 2050” – Hans van Meijl, Wageningen Economic Research
  • “Measuring the contribution of the bioeconomy towards reaching the SDGs” – Justus Wesseler, Wageningen University
